TUTORING CENTER STORE

In the tutoring business world, there are some things that all of us need.  The problem is that we either don’t know where to start or we don’t have the time or resources to create them.  Don’t worry!  I’ve got you covered.  This page has everything you need to take your tutoring business to the next level.  Designed for tutors by a tutor.

Let’s go shopping!

CONTRACTS

The word sounds so scary.

Your tutoring business needs a variety of contracts.  For starters, you will need a contract agreement between you and your students.  You’re also going to need a contract agreement between you and your tutors.

I’ve got you covered here.   These contracts have worked for my tutoring center since we opened and they still work today.  I’ve done all of the hard work for you.  All you have to do is download them, plug in your information, edit as you see fit, and start using them.  It’s as easy as that!

When you enroll a student, you enter into an agreement with them.   You agree to offer a service.  They agree to compensate you for that service.

Sounds so simple, right?  Well, it should be.  However, not everyone will honor a handshake or keep their word.  As a result, you’re going to need to enter into a formal contract with your student and/or their family.

What goes into a contract?

  • Terms of payment (amount for services, how it is paid, and when it is paid)
  • Commitment (schedule of lessons, minimum time commitment)
  • Cancellation and late arrival policy
  • Obligations (agreed upon expectations of tutor and student)
  • Warranties and guarantees
  • Termination (how to terminate the contract)

When you purchase the Tutoring Contract Template, you get an editable Word document that has all of the above information in understandable, legal jargon.  You can use the same policies that I use at my tutoring center or you can edit it to reflect your own policies and procedures.  But either way, the hard work is done for you.  You add your business information and it is then ready for use.  Doesn’t get any simpler than that!

When you hire a tutor, you enter into an agreement with them.  They agree to perform a service.  You agree to compensate them for that service.  It is important that you have a contract that outlines and describes the relationship between the employee and the business.

Employee contracts cover:

  • Services, Work, and Materials
  • Confidentiality and Non-Compete
  • Termination and Indemnification
